After Uttaran, Sparsh was also seen on the show Parvarrish, where she essayed the role of Rashi. She was also a part of the longest running show CID. Aside from television show, the actress had also worked in Hollywood films like Lucy Liu’s Meena: Half The Sky and The Princess Tales. The actress, who wasn’t looking to play another similar role (as Ichcha), essayed a similar role in the Hollywood flick – Meena: Half the Sky.

In a statement to Times of India, the actress had said, “While I was playing Ichcha, my clothes were always shabby because the character was born in a poor family. There were times when people used to think that I am actually as poor as Ichcha in real life too. I also did a Hollywood movie, Meena — Half The Sky, which again had me don a similar getup as Ichcha’s. That’s when I told my parents that I don’t want to play a poor kid again.”

She further added, “Luckily Rashi’s role was offered to me. The first thought that struck me was ‘Chalo, I will get to wear good clothes’.” Hoping to see the actress play more roles. Watch this space for more updates.
